Very sad news and after the jolly bubbly person she was, such an awful shame she suffered the indignity of the horrid Alzheimers. Will always be remembered for her Carry On film appearances, and appeared in other work too, RIP Barbara Windsor.

Very sad news. Like many others on the forum I very much enjoy watching the Carry On films and Barbara was a major part of the success of the Carry on films. R.I.P. Barbara Windsor Steed

Dame Barbara lived a fabulous life and has left an enduring legacy from St Trinian's to the West End to Carry On films. I find her association with the Kray's particularly interesting. But her giggle and smile were enough to brighten anyone's day.
Rest in Peace Barbara
