Immensely sad to hear that Dame Barbara Windsor has passed away aged 83 after being diagnosed with Alzheimers in 2014. For me she will always be remembered for the 9 Carry On Films she appeared in. RIP Barbara.

Barbara really was a central figure in those much loved Carry On films as well as an Eastenders favourite. Sad news indeed. RIP Barbara

Sad, she was good in Carry on films, and was an interesting character in real life. She was, at one time, married to Ronnie Knight, and allegedly Sid James was, should we say, interested in her. Sid got warned off by Ronnie.
RIP Babs

Very sad news to hear that Dame Barbara has passed away, but in some ways a release from the suffering of Alzheimer’s.
RIP Dame Barbara.

Very very sad news! Who could not enjoy every Carry On that she appeared in? Such a shame that in later life she suffered with Alzheimer's. R.I.P. Babs

RIP Barbara a true legend of film and TV!
Personally I hope something good comes out of the quicksand of Alzheimers and things can move forward in regard of treating that awful condition.
Thanks again Babs!

Very sad news indeed Barbara had a wonderful career though, and a very full life until she fell victim to that horrible disease.
I was surprised several years ago to see her turn up in some 50's films on the Talking Pictures even if only briefly. I thought she'd started appearing in films later on after her East End theatre work.
She deserved her success.
RIP Barbara.

Heartbreaking news. Barbara will be most remembered for all her Carry On's - she always filled the screen with her bubbly personality. A national treasure.
What a vile disease Alzheimer's is.
RIP.
