A great new year to all on 4:3tv. Here’s to putting that wretched 2020 behind us.
I hope the new year brings everyone as much health, love and happiness as is humanly possible, and lets all look forward to a happy and vaccinated 2021!

A happy and, above all, healthy new year to everyone here on the forum. Yes 2020 was a strange year, one that will not be forgotten that's for sure, but how will 2021 pan out? There's certainly a whole lot more optimism now that we may be able to progress but there's still a balancing act going on. I hope everyone had a good Christmas despite the event being limited and greater interaction curtailed, and look forward to many of us meeting up for the long-overdue forum meets and supping some freshly-pulled ales together. Good health to all Sam.

Yes, best wishes to all on here and let's hope 2021 is better than the last, very strange, year.
Looking forward to when the Life on Mars meet happens in Manchester.

I think this year it's going to be about keeping expectations under control as though it's going to be better than last year it looks quite a rough start until they've vaccinated numbers up into the millions.
Frankly we need a momentous effort to get those numbers and the NHS can't do it alone they need to take up some of offers being made by national companies to assist them.
Can't see things being normal by Easter as is being hinted.

Happy New Year to all 4:3tv staff and members! Hopefully 2021 will see things improve for all of us... Unfortunately, I feel it's going to be quite a while before any sense of normality returns Anyway, all the best! Vi

Hard to believe we are already a week post Christmas! I feel like there were more fireworks than normal last night. Did anyone else experience the same? I heard them for about half an hour to forty minutes after 12. I couldn’t really believe people wanted to stand outside in it, it was so cold, and that’s in Devon! I imagine it was much colder for those of you up north.
