I've received an email this evening from Mr Shifter and in it he informed me that NHK295M will be appearing in the next issue of Classic Ford magazine. The magazine is apparently due out tomorrow (2nd October 2020) so it'll be well worth heading down to your local newsagents to invest in a copy. Sam.

I used to subscribe religiously to Classic Ford but stopped buying it a few years back. I got a bit fed up of the same old stuff in there. I like to see nice Escorts but it was the same stuff every month. It got to the point I had the magazine arrive, I'd skip through it, put it down and that was it. I do buy it occasionally when something interesting is featured. This one is certainly one of those issues.
Great car. I've seen a few photos of it recently. It looks Superb, What a car and one very lucky owner.

I managed to pick up a copy of Classic Ford yesterday. Cheers Sam for reminding me to get it What a fantastic read. I'd seen some photo's on the internet before, possibly the same ones as in the feature I'm not sure but there are some very interesting facts about the car that I'd not read about before. If you're a fan of the Sweeney consul which I'm sure you are, don't hesitate to buy the mag, it's well worth it just for the Consul feature. The only downside for me is the £5.50 premium, It will take me a couple of weeks to get over it Seriously though, Superb Article on a Stunning piece of history.

I thought that too Three Litre and also what is shocking, well to me anyway was the thickness of the magazine. It only feels half of what they used to be. I’ll have to dig an early issue out and compare. Maybe it’s thinner paper or something. It was worth it though for this special car.
