The Jam, "Absolute Beginners" video is filmed right in the heart of Sweeney-land, and it begins at the junction of Blythe Road with Faroe Road. Amongst other locations, the band run past the alleyway by the Dry Cleaners on Milson Road, as seen in Taste Of Fear.
The band recorded Absolute Beginners at Nomis Studios on Sinclair Road, just a couple of streets away

Nice work on the locations on Absolute Beginners Windy.
Keeping The Sweeney locations going but changing the style/pace somewhat is Freestylerz - B-Boy Stance from '98... I appreciate this one might not be to everyone's taste here but bear with me.
At approximately 1:45 and 4:12 Kingsdown Close under the Westway in Westbourne Park is featured which was the scene of the foot chase between George and 'Col Boy' Raleigh in Sweet Smell of Succession.
I could be wrong but I think mostly 0:12 to 0:30 the estates of Goldborne Road which featured when Jack is taken hostage by Vic Tolman at the end of Bait also feature along with some more random locations in Notting Hill/Ladbroke Grove/Westborne Park etc.
I've included it more for The Sweeney locations rather than the music itself which is very much a late 90's London Hip Hop/street thing.

Ahh yes, I remember yourself and Ronnie Kray telling me about this track when we visited the area. Good shout.

Another one that has just sprung to mind is Blur's Parklife video: The houses that Phil Daniels and Damon Albarn are in front of are located alongside The Pilot pub at Greenwich. >>> Google View <<<The pub was periodically frequented by myself and former colleagues some years ago. Sam.

I know it well. A lovely little pub that I used to frequent for lunch whilst working in the area back in the 90s. I never spotted the cottages in the street as being in this video. Cheers Samuel.

I've had a few jars in The Pilot myself.
A very good London boozer I'd fully recommend to anyone out that way. A much better alternative to the souless crap in the O2 if you're gigging out there.

Australian Drum & Bass group Pendulum’s video for “Slam” includes a couple of Sweeney locations - Jack and George’s Soho walkabout in “Loving Arms”, and Jack’s solo walkabout in “Jack Or Knave”.
On Berwick Street at the market end :-
Just around the corner in D’Arblay Street :-
Between these two locations is the spot where Oasis photographed the cover for their album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory

Off topic but a little bit of trivia about the WTSMG album cover; the guy in the background holding something in the air is actually holding the master tape for the album.

Nobel Prize winner Bob Dylan filmed the promo for Subterranean Homesick Blues round the back of the Savoy Hotel in London.
An early prediction of coronavirus symptoms :-
