Watching Now 70s last night two music videos were shown barely 15 minutes apart that coincidentally used the same location:
These were filmed at the Great Conservatory at Syon Park, Syon House, Brentford with the singles released from Dawn in 1971 and David Cassidy in 1973.
Syon Park, house and conservatory have been used many many times over the years for filming locations so was easily recognisable, more so because Annie and I have taken our kids along there too.
It just made me think that with the sheer number of music videos that members must be able to spot a few locations along the way....
Sam.

^^ Good spot^^
Soul II Soul "Get A Life" was filmed outside All Saints church, Notting Hill, which is also where PC Allder chases the gun girls in "Loving Arms"

Some good posts, Sam I was around Syon House 2-3 years ago too.
Here's a pre-Madchester Witworth Street in Manchester from 1987 (0.25 - 0.55) in Happy Mondays 24 Hour Party People, just as I used to remember it!
Not sure where the terraced houses later in the vid are... have a feel of Whithington/Moss Side to me but I could be way off the mark.

Those back to backs at the end of the vid look like Salford way to me, but there are (and more so were) lots of these streets in Manchester. A lot have sadly gone now.

Two former Beatle's using the same location. First up is John Lennon with "Jealous Guy" followed less than a year later by Ringo Starr with "Back Off Boogaloo". Both videos filmed at Tittenhurst Park in Berkshire. It was John's house until he sold it to Ringo in 1971, just after filming the video for "Jealous Guy".

Would that have also been the location for 'Imagine'? The house looks as if it could be. Sam.

Thanks for the info Steve. I've looked it up on Google maps now I never knew they'd lived there. I've no idea how many times I've driven past the entrance and been none the wiser.
Sam.

Ringo must have made a fortune when he sold that on, I think a Sheik bought it.
