I don't recall the stuff aimed at the really young, maybe I didn't watch much.
The ones I do remember are from the ages of about 5 onwards, some episodes of Dr Who with William Hartnell and the great Gerry Anderson ones, Fireball XL5, Stingray and Thunderbirds. I can recall watching the first or very early episode of Thunderbirds.
On the subject of a cartoon series, anyone remember The Impossibles? It had Fluid Man, Multiple Man and some other type of man that escapes me. This was around '66 when they quite few US cartoons on.
Some Kids TV related findings from the great Betamax digitisation project...
1) Hickory House
This a junction slide, used by Granada for the voiceover announcement before the programme. This wouldn't be seen anywhere apart from within the Granada Area. (Unless you had a damn good aerial or there was a balls up within the ITV network - this has happened.)
2) Hickory House - 1975
From the Opening titles. This find is an entire programme including advert breaks.
This particular episode is presented by Alan Rothwell - best known for presenting the Schools Programme, Picture Box well into the late 1980s. He popped up in roles in Holby City and Casualty more recently.
3) BBC1 Childrens TV Schedule - 1979
The closest the BBC came to a Childrens TV "brand" at the time was by using this kind of slide.
Never watched Mighty Mouse, though did like Huckelberry Finn - that was repeated for years, mainly during the school holidays.
4) BBC1 Childrens TV Schedule - 1985
This from the Summer School Holidays of 1985.
The Littlest Hobo was one of shows that was also repeated over and over.
5) Vision On
Pre Take Hart and Hartbeat....
6) Screen Test
7) Broom Cupboard - 1987
Andy Crane in the "Broom Cupboard" (BBC Announcers Studio decorated accordingly)
And a young Andy Peters in a Noel Edmunds sweater, roughly the same era...
Frightened by Horror Films? - Just remember, BEHIND the camera stand even more horrifying individuals moaning about the Catering food, the hours they work and quoting Union Rules... that's just the Electricians.

I remember early Playschool in my day and Trumpton and Camberwick Green, Noddy and The Magic Roundabout!
Who remembers Rupert the Bear (with them tune sang by Jackie Lee) with the characters as puppets, the thing that was called "Raggety" was a bit scary looking! It ran from 1970-77.
Now you mentioned Robinson Crusoe, I don't remember that especially but another series was "The White Horses" - which they showed on kids BBC TV, which was made in 1965 and a German/Yugoslavian co production. For the UK it was dubbed in to English and given a UK market theme tune - again..... sang by Jackie Lee. It was shown in Britain from 1968 and repeated for many years afterwards.
I also saw Huckleberry Finn (repeated a number of times) and also remember a number of foreign language Childrens dramas were shown from around 1979 onwards which were "children fighting crime" stories updated for modern stories and came from countries like Spain and and eastern Europe. They had a constant English narrator over the top of the visual film and the original films foreign voices could be heard, this was done rather than dubbing into English.
