Just when you thought you'd seen everything
What is this "Tik Tok" - is it some kind of anti-social media?
FFS, is it any wonder countries have been more or less closed down in a bid to try and prevent further spread of the virus.
We've got award winning bell-ends over here ignoring health advice given out by the Government and Health Officials. But they are quick to moan about the strict rules put on.
It seems at times, when it comes to slowing the spread down to reduce demand on the NHS and keep us safe - those that are abiding by the rules are p***ing into the wind and getting punished because of an arrogant few.
Still seen loads of groups of kids out and about today. Also seen one of those really rare vehicles too - the white ones with Police written in blue letters on the side.
They haven't got the police staff available when idiot are chucking bricks through windows, or breaking into cars - so how are they suddenly finding them to dish out dispersal orders and fines?
Hope they ask for Volunteers for the Police - we should volunteer Gene & Sam to get out there and stamp on the arrogant b**tards toys...... (providing they have the correct PPE of course).
Any ideas how you can kick someone in the nuts from a minimum of 2m away? (Stilts perhaps?)

Tik Tok is a favoured social media app of the millenial. It has vids/ challenges that are viral then the trend is to make your own video copying that. Lately it's licking food in shops and public transport grab rails , which as we know could be deadly to someone in the chain. Not so long ago there was a challenge that involved bending your thumb back a certain way which basically broke a tendon . Dumb sods

Is this where this "Silly Salmon" business came from?

No police force at all in my town unless you count the cardboard cut out in the window of Home Bargains, the station has long been closed. The only sign of the police is an occasional police car in traffic or a siren in the distance. Plenty of cctv cameras though

Strangely I'm still working, classed as a key worker, apparently, as we supply parts to kwik fit, who have a contract for NHS vehicles

I wouldn't be surprised . Tik Tok does have some funny videos on it. You get someone upload then people highlight the comedy in said video.

A lot of policing these days seems to focus increasingly on this aspect. Even in London they have shut and flogged a lot of the nicks. They have gone to regional bigger bases approximately one per borough, but my guess is less staff overall.

To be fair police can't win at the best of times and the moves to flog off the stations over the year's has been a nightmare generally no matter in times like this. Damned if they do damed if they don't but sadly I feel it'll be a matter of time before something kicks off at the moment and some are just itching for it to happen.

Strangely I'm still working, classed as a key worker, apparently, as we supply parts to kwik fit, who have a contract for NHS vehicles Are all Garages remaining open - including the independents? I assumed they were all classed as Key Workers and Essential Services.
How's this work with the MOT tests - I gather (though this could be fake news) that the DVSA are extending the MOT period of cars that expire during the lock down period.
My car is due for MOT on April 8th, not sure if to book it in, or leave it - as if the garages are closed - once they re-open there will be a mass rush. Don't really fancy driving my car about without a suitable MOT - regardless of what the government say. Not that I'll be going anywhere. But the car is there just in case.
