Any members or their family that have picked up the virus or symptoms of the virus please feel free let us know here, let's keep this thread for encouragement and support for those that may be directly affected. The good news from me is that my wife and daughter have both improved significantly, they're not 100% yet but certainly 75% there. It certainly is a great comfort to know that whether it was the virus or not they are on the mend. Thanks again for everyone's well-wishes. Sam.

Best wishes to you and yours Sam and thanks for setting up this dedicated thread on the subject - I'm a member of the Pistonheads forum and there are far too many different coronavirus threads to keep up with (I gave up in the end!). This morning I was sent an 'ok to travel' letter from my guvnor in case old Bill decide to give me a pull on the way to work at silly o'clock in the morning. It'll come in very handy when crossing the border into Willesden and being commanded to 'show us your papers'! Villain

Glad to hear the family is on the mend Sam I've had the news today that two colleagues have been hospitalised with it and a third colleagues father unfortunately passed yesterday after contracting Covid19. I'm distancing due to my asthma. I did at the start of my social distancing ponder whether this was an overreaction but most definitely not now. It feels close to home and it's something that must be taken seriously by all. Fortunately 99% of all people i've seen whilst out getting shopping have been complying with the distancing rules as have local businesses.

Great news Sam hope your family are over this mate it's a real unknown and scary thing that's going down at the moment.
As Del say's the problem is how quickly it can strike you down and make you vulnerable and likewise I've lost more than a fifth of he employees I look after to it - some seem a bit serious too. Also worried about friends and family too - especially those I can't visit nor know when I can see them until this all starts settling down.
Easily said than done but just as much as you can take care, stay well/safe and all my best.

Hope your family members continue to improve Sam, everyone I know locally seems to be fine, but a few of those people know or have the odd family member who is now suffering from it, hoping for the best with this whole thing.
