I'm sorry to hear you're not going to this event, Gerry. Thanks again for posting it on the forum. Vi

I've just read Gerrys's post about all the tickets being sold out. I still hadn't booked it yet as I still didn't know if it was worth booking accommodation down there. If my wife hadn't been working we could have made a weekend of it. It's a pity in a way. I would have liked to have seen some of the guests booked to appear at the event. I was in the process of pricing it all up before making a final decision tonight or tomorrow. If I lived in Greater London I would have definitely booked it sooner. Oh well! Hope it's a great event for those attending.

I was the same with Charles regarding booking - it was on my mental "to do" list and it kept slipping my mind, but look forward to hearing about it from those that attend!

I could be wrong but looking at the museum website it seems to be the film screening which has sold out, this preceeds the reunion event.

I've just phoned up The Cinema Museum and they do have tickets still available for the actual Sweeney event as you suspected. I've just given my name in and I was told by an American lady there that they will reserve a place for me, and I can pay on the night so I've done that. I will make a final decision about attending in the next day or so. It looks like I will be going up to now though. If I decide against attending I will of course let them know in plenty of time. Charles.

Charles. Oh interesting..... I tried to book online via the Facebook link and it just went straight to "Sold out" - I'll have another look, don't recall it saying it was for the film only. Thanks for the update Peterand Charles!

Right then! Scrub what I said earlier, looks like I'm going! Cheers again lads for putting me right regarding the correct booking, that FB booking system is a bit misleading actually...... but I've gone through the Misty Moon site and it's sorted! Nothing planned that night and have paid for the insurance in case I have to cancel (couldn't do that with a previous event.........).
See you there!

Nice one Gerald, good idea to get the insurance as you never know what might stop you from attending. I didn't know it was possible to do that, thanks
