Brigitte Kahn, in her first tv acting role according to imdb, in an episode of 'Secret Army' from 1978, she plays the wife of Michael Culver who appears in The Sweeney episode 'Money Money Money'. Also in the same episode is Gunnar Möller, the copper in 'The Accused'.
In the following episode AWP barman Ray Knight appears.
A grim piece of trvia is that in 1979 Gunnar Möller killed his 45 year old wife, German actress Brigitte Rau, apparently during an argument he attacked her with a stool, he served 2 years in prison.
Oddly enough the actor who played Willmot-Brown in Eastenders also appears in this episode, odd because in the show he owned the local nightclub, The Dagmar.

Watching a Scene play from 1975 on youtube called 'Gulpin' I recognised Martin Matthews who plays the friendly local copper Sgt.Ives in series 2. Curiously enough the play was written & directed by actor Ken Jones, best known for playing Ives in 'Porridge', his sole writing/directing credit according to imdb, the play was co-written with and stars Jones' wife, actress Sheila Fay best known for 'The Liver Birds'.
Fans of Liverpool FC will want to watch it as it shows footage of a Liverpool match. A nice play in any case, well worth watching with a great performance by Gina Maher who plays 'Gulpin', the football mad girl of the title.

'Heartburn Hotel' featuring Tim Healy , another AWP connection is that he & the other main character in the show play Falklands veterans like Barry & Oz. John Sullivan co-wrote this odd comedy which is more strange than funny. Healy's character is also reminiscent of Arthur Pringle.

No smudge I'm afraid but I saw Vincenzo Nicoli, who played wor Marjorie's boyfriend Sandro, in a 1986 episode of the sitcom 'Full House' on Forces TV. He played a gay friend of Brian Capron from 'Feet Of Clay'.

He played a gay friend of Brian Capron from 'Feet Of Clay'. Nice one Arthur, can't get Forces on my setup at the moment. It seems Vincenzo's had quite a varied career from everything from Alien 3 to Father Brown, Dalziel and Pascoe to The Dark Knight too. Not bad for Marjorie's boy friend!

Spotted Sammi Davis (ping pong Pippa) in the excellent "Mona Lisa" last night on Talking Pictures TV. You're right Steve, thought I recognised her when I watched it last year but...
I might dig it out for a watch sometime soon too, nice spotting Steve.
