I suppose it was because of the low budget that the locations used were mostly very close to Pinewood. I think the furthest travelled was Snowdonia to film Carry on Up the Khyber. In Carry on Doctor Dr Kilmore (Jim Dale) is seen running from the hospital (Maidenhead town hall) across the road to the nurses quarters opposite thinking Nurse Sandra May (Barbara Windsor) is about to jump from the roof. This building isn't opposite the town hall but is in Lancaster Gate in London.  From the film.  And now. |
