This occurred to me when doing the 78/9 chart run downs in the Retro charts thread. As I was reading the listings for the months music I found lots of memories I had forgotten about coming flooding back!
If you want to remember what you were doing in, say September 1979 or whenever, just go to Every Hit.com!!

I know exactly what you mean Cartman, I've done that many times looking through the charts from '75 through to '80. There are so many singles that are overlooked over the years that seeing them down in print takes you back.
I also tend to look through from time to time and follow up with a replay on YouTube.
Can't beat a good bit of nostalgia eh? That's what's so good about this forum.

My father bought that single at the time and still has it at home. That single, which still plays fairly well, is a couple of years older than me so no, I wouldn't have any memory of when that was first released.

I like that site Batgirl I had a look at 1977 loads of great moments on there. Like the Star Wars queue at Leicester Square and the Silver Jubilee Routemasters.

I've only looked at pic's from 1977 so far, but I'm really enjoying it. I've had to Google some of the celebs in the photos though. Can't wait to look at some of the other bygone years. Charles.

Thanks for this Batgirl, love that it’s one of my favourite years (1977) too!
