Lewis had a bit of fortune with the last safety car, but you make your own luck. Rosberg cracked under pressure in the end and slid off the track. Then made a total fool of himself in front of the whole world with a display of unsportsman like behaviour in the back room. Apparently, when he slung the hat back at Lewis, it was shown all around the circuit on the big screens and received a suitable response from the crowd. Sore loser in my opinion.
The race in itself has to go down in history as one of the best. Even Lauda said so. Fantastic action throughout.
Congratulations to Lewis on making it into the history books as the first Brit to take back to back titles. That's 3 times World Champion now with plenty of time to bag more.
Gene.

Brilliant race, certainly one of the most exciting races for some time. It looked as if it wasn't going to go Hamilton's way but the last virtual safety car event favoured Hamilton that time around which only left Rosbergto make his error and pass the race over.
The incident with the hat and his behaviour on the podium demonstrated just how bad a loser Rosberg is.
Great race and well deserved win and third championship success to Hamilton.

Great race to watch and Hamilton has been consistently the best driver over the season so he deserves the title. Interesting to see how Rosberg bottled it again though, especially at turn 1 on the opening lap !!! He should have stood his ground and made Hamilton back out of it or crash into him. Either outcome would stop it from happening again.

Agree with all the posts here. Nice one to Lewis for being a three time champion and he's simply best racer on the grid atm. Yes the Merc has dominance but Rosberg's pretty much second rate to Lewis within Mercedes and in all honesty may have a challenge coming from Vettel for second if Ferrari go at the Mercs in the last few races - hope they do. Speaking of Rosberg what a sore loser and d*ck in with his hat antics for the podium. At least Massa lost the 2008 title to Lewis with sportsmanship not the spoilt brat antics! Okay could be a realisation from Rosberg that his best chance of a title has come and gone but still that was down to him not bringing a fight to Hamilton in equal material. Great race all the same and nice one for Jenson's 6th too! Let's hope it's a cracking end to the season too!

I have the race Sky+'d. It's one I'm going to have to watch again. I thought Lewis had lost the race but it was amazing how he was able to come back into play when Rosberg screwed up. It's amazing how much of a difference and how much more exciting a wet weather race can be.

There is something to be said for Bernies idea of installing sprinklers around every track and running them at random intervals. Gene.

That will never happen in case it causes an accident. Nice idea though to liven up the racing.

Perhaps he's been to Mercedes World at Brooklands and taken the idea from them.
Hamilton was there with the McLaren team for the Double Twelve event back in 2009. It was amazing to see him drift the F1 car around that section of the circuit - despite the fact that he lost it on a dry section of track later.

I would like someone to beat Hamilton twice ! Well it happened early in the season, why not at the end too. This won't be a view shared by many but plenty of people are tiring of the one sided competition. Will next year be a repeat of 2015 with Hamilton dominating ? It may be unsportsmanlike but I can understand Rosberg's frustration and he is in the winning team !

I can't believe it happened but it did. I didn't watch the Mexican F1 race but was surprised to hear the results. Congratulations Rosberg ! I'd love to see Daniel Ricciardio win a race, maybe if I type it, it will happen.
