I've seen a few episodes over the years too, brilliant program!
I can't abide watching it on ITV4 though because they've edited so much out to get an extra ad break in. For that reason I bought the DVDs
Anyway, how about a few more intros:

No one mentioned Whatever Happened To The Likely Lads yet? It got to number 35 in the charts in 1973 and in my opinion is one of the best theme tunes ever.

I was thinking this week that I swear there was a theme tune the ITN news which I remember when I was a boy (and different to the famous News at Ten theme) and I found it!! Who's old enough to remember this very 50's and quintessentially British sounding piece?? I remember it was it was still apparently used on weekend bulletins up till 1982!
