Anyone seen this yet? I managed to see a bootleg shared Facebook version on Sunday as not yet signed up to Amazon Prime. There's been a lot of hype surrounding the return of Clarkson, May and Hammond. I think they pulled it off big time. The opening was fantastic. The filming is superb and the whole thing was them back on form. If you didn't like their Top Gear before then this won't change you but if you were a fan then this is the business and I look forward to the next eleven episodes. I can't see a future now for the BBC Top Gear though.

Yes, watched this the other night. It was great. Love them or loathe them this new production looks brilliant. There were a couple of duff moments (the arrival of a couple of stars - you'll know what I mean if you watch it) but apart from that it was great to see them back together. I'm looking forward to the rest of the run too. Hopefully, the little bloke with the whitened teeth will keep away from my motor this time...

I watched it yesterday and really thought they did well with it. Lots of humour and digs at the old employer. Like the way they set up the studio and are going to move it about. Clever. The last Top Gear with them in it was getting boring anyway. This bizarrely has been the shot in the arm the format needed The new Top Gear was shite. I watched 2 episodes and couldn't stomach any more of it. I also tried a few episodes but ultimately blew out 5th Gear when CH5 revived the old Top Gear format. That was also shite

I watched this yesterday, and I must say it was really impressive. There's been a few quid spent in it, that's for sure. I will certainly be watching the rest of the series. I glad they've come up with the goods. I hope he eases up on the BBC cracks though.
Charles.

Well the first two episodes have been a success.I'm pleased no new presenters have been added, something i was dreading and the trio are very much back together. It was a comfortable watch no awkward moments worrying if they'd left it too long.
The celebrity catastrophe i can see will be a recurring theme, who wont show next ? its a nod to the star interview of top gear days and i suppose they cant copy the format too closely.
Enough of the good stuff remains to keep fans happy but they must be careful with the slapstick stunts which can look forced.
Thumbs up from a female perspective đź‘Ť

You boys are utterly lost in the 21st century, aren’t you? I haven’t seen any of The Grand Tour :( I did hope it wouldn’t always remain just on Amazon. We both loved Top Gear with the three of them. Didn’t stand any more than a few minutes of the new series; talk about butchery.

If you keep watching past the selfie/autograph bit there are quite a few Fords recently filmed for the show near Lincoln Cathedral.

Great videos Batgirl, thanks for posting How rude was the lady about James May?? Liked the VW type 3 fastback in the first vid Cheers Steve. I too was surprised by the rude comment about James May. Personally I think the vid creator should have left that bit of audio out.
And yet James May still posed for numerous selfies and autographs later in the vid. None of those people said 'Thank you' after the selfie was taken. What a cheek.
Anyway I look forward to seeing the Ford episode of The Grand Tour which apparently has a lot of Cortina Mk 3 content as owners from a forum were asked specifically to bring them for filming.
