Found another one... Finished watching the b&w boxset and have started on the colour one (which arrived the other day from Newtork, thanks to their recent 60% off sale). Some cracking episodes so far with the usual familiar guest stars such as Anton Rogers and Annette Andre. It's almost an unwritten rule that these guest actors and actresses can appear in several different episodes playing different characters, you just don't get that sort of thing in modern TV dramas! Great pics Villain, thanks for posting them up
I do like those P1800s, they have to be the best design of car ever to have come off of Volvo's drawing board.
Sam.

I agree Sam, and it's one of those cars which seems to look even better in the metal. At the NEC classic show last year there were three of them lined up side by side, all looking very long and low with bags of chrome festooned on them. One of them was the same colour as The Saint's car with the contrasting red interior... a lovely sight

Just a heads up - the Volvo P1800 from 'The Saint' and the Jag XJ-S from 'Return Of The Saint' are featured in the December issue of Practical Classics magazine, which sees them both revisting Elstree Studios. The XJ-S is currently in unrestored condition and will be exhibited at the NEC Classic Car Show on the 13th, 14th and 15th of this month. Villain

Nice find Villain, not seen that interview before! A nice little bit of insight into Sir Roger's career there and his life then.

I remember as a kid watching the episode about the loch ness monster, always stuck in the memory. I still enjoy watching the Saint. That’s the one that automatically springs to mind, for me.

Roger as we know always pulled himself down regarding his acting abilities but he did a good job in his productions. As far as 'The Saint" is concerned, I absolutely love it, and I still enjoy watching it as much as I ever did. Charles.
