Count me in!
What have we got in our first series for 1973? A Dolly Sprint? Ferrari GT4? Maserati Khamsin? Pontiac Grand Am?
I'll go with those What about a nice Lamborghini Miura, A Consul GT, a Jaguar XJ6 and a nice pair of Bristols Gene. All of the above! Bung in a nice sprawling piece about the Rover P5B Coupe, a buyers guide to the Gordon Keeble and a spin round the MIRA banked test track in Coombs specced Mk2 Jag and we're onto a winner...

It sounds like the producer has been approached by some lawyers who think there's an opportunity to make money (for him and the lawyers). At the time he didn't press charges, but now it seems to be an issue for the man.

It's always to do with looking for a payout or a better job. A lot of organisations will pay up in order for it to go away regardless of blame.

Not sure what's become of the producer who was Clarkson's fall guy that fateful day he didn't get his hot dinner but supposing he's been out of work since, seeing Clarkson & co. walk away from it all & then get huge payouts to do the Amazon series has got to rankle. He also had to endure the public attacking him, including death threats, for Clarkson's sacking. He probably looks back at it & feels hard done by, you can't blame him for wanting a piece of Clarkson's fortune when much of it is earnt purely through being a figure of controversy.
