Admin - sorry if I have not done the correct "embedding" (can someone point me in the right direction for that or update the posting pleas? Many thanks!) but I wonder if anyone would be interested in these:
2 films of Hillman Hunter GLS saloon car racers at Oulton Park in 1972 - some great period motors dicing round the track and some sideboarded drivers, along with a well spoken commentator. Now THIS is proper fly on the wall filming, not todays rubbish!!

Great clips Gerry, thanks for posting.
Who'd have thought that a Hunter could be transformed like that was?

An update - another nice period film from the 1970 Earls Court Motor show, mainly mentioning the then new 3rd generation Vauxhall Viva - the HC series (nice clips of FD Victors being built too at the Luton factory, down the road from me!) and the show report shows other new cars launched that year - The Stag and Toledo, updated Maxi, and the MK3 Cortina!
Enjoy:

Enjoyed that Gerry, thanks for posting. Remember going to that show and my Dad purchasing a green HC SL, witch we drove all over Europe.
Love the old 70s racing clips. The smokey Forenza drifting and the sound of the Essex capri.

Great Motor Show film Gerry I especially liked the Stag and Range Rover, two cars that still look good today! Did anyone else notice that they got the name wrong for the Rolls-Royce? The narrator called it a Silver Cloud, it is in fact a Silver Shadow Mulliner Park Ward Convertible (the pre-Corniche model). The Saint
