Leo Sayer also had a late career boost when this remix of one of his old song hit big around the world...

I wouldn't say that I was particularly a fan of Leo Sayer as I've never bought any of his music whether on vinyl or CD although my brother had an album of his back in the late 70s. I don't mind listening to his music from time to time as there are a number of his tracks in my Youtube playlists but I find I tire of his music after 3 or 4 tracks and will move on to other artists fairly quickly.
I knew of the collaboration with Roger Daltrey and far prefer Roger's version of "Giving It All Away" to Leo's.
If I had to choose one track of Leo's as a favourite then it would be "Thunder In My Heart" but the original not the Meck version.
Sam.

I hear ya Sam
I wouldn't say I was much of a fan either but there are a few moments that are acceptable, even vaguely pleasing
Moonlighting is another goodie
Reminds me ever so slightly of the wonderful Spanish Stroll by Mink DeVille

Leo had a couple of good records and some that were a bit cheesy. Talented guy though.
