TPTV regularly throws up some gems and tonight I’ve happened upon this great, gory watch from 1973 which I’ve not seen for a few years although this time I’ve unfortunately missed the first forty minutes but TPTV seem to regularly repeat what they’re showing. For those that haven’t seen it, there’s a classic cast of who’s who in British film of the era and it rolls along very nicely. Add some classic vehicles, fashion and furnishings of the age for good measure and there’s plenty to keep you interested. Probably one for theatre critics to give a wide berth to however. www.imdb.com/title/tt0070791/?ref_=nv_sr_srsg_0_tt_8_nm_0_q_theatre

It's got Vincent Price in it. Enough said. Some good locations too.

A very enjoyable black comedy horror film, and one of Vincent's favourites I believe. British horror seemed to very popular during the late 60s and early 70s, with Hammer, Amicus and Tigon putting so many movies into production during this particular period.
