Hi All Any stranglers fans on here
As I went to see Hugh Cornwall up here in Newcastle last week . The first half of his set was his solo work but WOW the second half.
Ive seen the stranglers many times but have never seen them play turn the centuries turn off of gospel according to the men in black album .
Well Hugh did and I was amazed such an obscure track ❤️
just wanted to share this once in a lifetime moment 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Stranglers fan here Albert. I most recently saw them in Southend in the early part of this year. The gig was delayed a couple of years due to covid and was poignant due to the sad passing of Dave Greenfield. Sad to hear of the passing of Jet Black yesterday.
RIP Jet

Happy New Year Albert. I'll have to look out for one of Hugh's gigs. I've not seen him yet.

I saw Hugh in 2003 (yeah nearly 20 years now) supporting Blondie at the Philharmonic in Liverpool. He did mostly his solo material but a few classics mixed in, in a different way. Glad I saw him too. Saw The Stranglers in Southend too with Del too. Very good too.
