Annie and I stopped in at Brooklands Museum today. It was a spur of the moment idea this morning that we'd stop in on our way back but it was worth it to find that it was the Jaguar Drivers Club centenary event. Plenty of Jaguars of all ages, many I would have happily taken the keys for. https://www.instagram.com/p/CdlxPiLqKH2 https://www.instagram.com/p/CdlxaapqGL5 It was getting late in the day and the weather was cack so many of the cars had already left but there were a few classics (and not-so-classics!) that remained. Sam.

Grey clouds only seem to enhance the foregrounds filled with a fine selection of Jaguars. Cheers Samuel

That looks like a great event Sam. Were any of them on sale? I'd love to bag a nice Mk10. What a fantastic road presence they have! Thanks for taking the photos and sharing them with us I think the rain really adds to the atmosphere and fair dos to the owners for not being fair weather drivers. Gene.

The only one that I saw for sale was an XK150 but that was "Price on application" so who knows what the owner would have wanted for it. A friend of mine paid over £100k for an XK120 about five years ago so there's some good money in them. There were a good number of XK120s and XK150s but I didn't see any XK140s, perhaps I just missed them but as you quite rightly said "fair dos to the owners for not being fair weather drivers" particularly in the open top XK120s and XK150s. Sam.

Excellent selection of photos there Sam and as Gene says very atmospheric with that rain. Quite like the Silk Cut Le Mans cars and seems like a great day. Thanks again for sharing.

Thanks for the photos Sam - very nice turnout of those you did get to see. The Lightweight racing E type would be worth a fortune I should think, and those racing MK1 and 2 saloons look the business. Nice to see amongst the MK2 saloons too, one with the steel type wheels and hubcaps.
