Not a car show but a vintage bus running day where you can hop on and off as you like all day. This is a great free event that I've been to many times. It's back again after two years because of the Covid lurgy so was good to go to it once again. I think we managed 4 different trips out. https://www.instagram.com/p/Ccvj2XMsoXx

Some great photos there BG, I like the RT in NBC leaf green, which a few did carry very late on, and I haven't seen one preserved in that livery before

It looks like you had a great day on the buses BG Seems as always, you wait ages for a bus, and then they all turn up at the same time

Many thanks for those BG, always nice to see classic buses preserved! I think a fair few of us on the forum will remember the Leyland National, I went to school and work on those from the early 80's to the 90's. I remember the distinctive engine note when they pulled away and changed gear! They gradually replaced the Bristol REL single deckers in my area and were all single passenger door versions. Although in other areas, including in the Greater London area, they sometimes operated the versions with a second set of doors in the middle of the left side.
