I enjoyed last Sunday at the Charger Club of Victoria Show 'n' Shine day. It was the first day that Melbourne had rain forecast - of course as I was going to a car show! (The floods have been in Queensland and NSW, Victoria has been dry)
As I get older I appreciate the location of a show more and more. I'll still wander around a field to look at cars in a show but a dining hall with a full restaurant menu and homemade strudel at the Austrian club made this an even better day !
I don't know a lot about Chargers but I've always admired these muscle cars and have a fondness for old Chrysler Valiants.
It was a small car show but sometimes that's better than 1000's of cars that you'll never get the chance to look at properly. The Plymouth Formula S Barracuda 1966 was a real showstopper. A833 4 speed, 273CI comando engine (don't you love it when they have a sign telling you about their car. I suppose they get sick of answering the same questions).
I was quite fascinated by these two cars. And the dining hall !

Great pics, Batgirl. I like the Barracuda, it looks a bit similar to the Hunter based Rapier fastback coupe

Great selection of pics Batgirl, thanks for sharing them. They've reminded me that about this time last year I was seriously thinking about buying a yank as my next classic and came very close to buying a '65 Chevy Corvair, partly because of the looks and the air cooled quirkiness, but also because it would actually have fitted in my garage. Alas it wasn't to be but I still fancy a yank some day. Villain

What a fantastic show Batgirl. The Plymouth Barracuda is an amazing looking beast. I've never clapped eyes on one, what a stunner. Thanks for uploading these fine automotive examples.

Excellent pics once again BG. Looks a very interesting show too, shame the Charger/Challenger wasn't really made available in the UK/Europe too Like the Panel Van too. Thanks again for sharing.
