I'm mentioning this to give the heads up to avoid it! It's quite simply one of the worst programmes I've ever seen. It's just laughably bad, it's positively insane and why are two good actresses, Maxine Peake and Alison Steadman in this utter pony?
It's typical BBC, shoehorning every possible minority in, it's cliched and the writing is terrible, totally unbelievable
It's just💩

Thanks for the heads up Carty. I haven't enjoyed a sitcom since Friday Night Dinner on C4

Annie and our youngest gave this a viewing as well, their conclusion was very similar. I let them get on with it as I was watching Randall and Hopkirk at the time so I know which of us made the wisest choice!

Annie remembers it fondly as she used to watch it with her parents, and our daughter has sat and watched a few with me. Mind you, she was watching The Sweeney and The Italian Job (the proper one not the 2001 version with the septics) with me from about the age of five so she has been bought up to have an appreciation of nostalgic TV.
