Very sad to report the death of Alan Igbon. He passed away peacefully early in December 2020, causes unknown. Many will remember Alan as Loggo Logmond in Boys From The Blackstuff, but he was also in series 3 or Auf Wiedersehen, Pet, The Professionals and Coronation Street as well as many other productions. He was 68 years old. RIP Alan. Evening Standard Announcement

Sad news. I recall seeing Alan in Boys from the Blackstff, Scum, AWP, and GBH but I notice he hadn't any acting credits on IMDB since 2004 when he'd have only been 52. I wonder what happened to him in the past 16 years? R.I.P. Alan

Hell this is sad news and just seen it here.
I always have a thing for Alan for being scallywag, joker 'Loggo' in Boys from the Blackstuff but his work spanned many different things I've enjoyed including a odd significant one off part in The Professionals, borstal boy Meakin in Scum and even his role in the BBC reboot of Auf Pet where he and Michael Angelis were a little lost in it all sadly... not their fault in my view.
As both Alan and Michael (Angelis) have past on recently come on BBC repeat Boys from the Blackstuff as a tribute, it's been a decade since it was last on TV.
RIP Alan thanks for your contribution to acting, film and TV!
