A short film from 1964 about actress & singer Queenie Watts, a familiar face on tv & film from the 60's & 70's, she was about 40 when the film was made, she died aged 56. Much of the film is set in the pub she & her husband ran, The Iron Bridge Tavern, where she also regularly sang & played the piano with a band.
Who was the Cockney singer in the opening Teaser in "Regan"? Was that Queenie?

She doesn't have a credit Sparky & isn't listed on the imdb credits, can't say I recognise her, possibly she was resident singer at the Old Justice pub.

OK, it's a bleak subject. Perhaps should have posted something more upbeat under the circumstances. Though further to the conversation on "Things you Don't Get" - this seems appropriate. This is the documentary that inspired "Threads".

Yes I was thinking about watching 'Threads' again a few days ago, that & 'Survivors'. I don't think I'll bother
The director of Threads wrote & directed this QED documentary which covers a lot of the same ground-
