Okay so not the entire video but just part of it: The scenes where Rick Astley has been filmed 'dancing' beneath a brick built bridge such as 0:08 seconds in is a location that should be very familiar to many squad members as it is beneath the Freston Road railway bridge in Holland Park. The street lamp shown in the video appears to be an added piece of street furniture for effect. Sam. I don't know how I missed this but the ornate windows that RA is dancing in front of with the two young ladies from the very start of the video is also in Freston Road just 85 metres from the above mentioned bridge and is at a building called the Harrow Club Sam.

Rather than having to follow the two Google links in my posts above, here is a view of the Harrow Club and the bridge as mentioned in my two posts above: https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf4AOGFqLmT It gives a bit of perspective of how close the two locations are. I may be barking up the wrong tree but there are also some recording studios alongside the bridge, I'm wondering if that's where the track was recorded? Someone may be able to confirm? Sam.

By the time Rick recorded the track, SAW were fairly well established in their own "Hit Factory" studios on Vine Yard in SE1... erm, so I believe... not that I'm a secret Stock, Aitken, Waterman fan or anything...

I believe you Nightly. Seriously their "Hit Factory" featured in TOTP's Story of 1989 which was on recently, not sure if the footage was shot by the BBC/ITV or one of their own promo jobs but certainly was a insight into their philosophy, how they did things and the illusion (pop success) they had around them at that time which due to Rave, Madchester etc. began to fade.

The dreaded words Stock Aitken Waterman...
They really did produce some cack. Music was at its lowest point then.

I was always amazed that, despite their dubious reputation for using computer generated backing tracks, they credited an actual drummer on most of their tracks as Drums: A. Linn. I had visions of a trendy gentleman of oriental extraction behind a drum kit, until someone showed me this... https://www.instagram.com/p/Cf7FPtaLdBt

I met Pete Waterman once, at the East Lancs Railway, in his capacity as a rail enthusiast, he did work on the railway before he went into music.
As a railway man I respect him, as a music producer I think he was terrible!

I'm pretty sure he once said in a documentary that if he could live his life again he would have been happier as train driver.
