I remember seeing Errol on This Is Your Life. He seemed a really nice bloke. "So You Win Again", is my favourite Hot Chocolate song. It will forever bring back memories of when they used to play it at the ice skating rink me and some some chums used to go to, when I was younger. R.I.P. Errol.

Spooky, but I had been playing the album 'Hot Chocolate: As & Bs & Rarities' in the days prior to Errol's death. And there are some great examples of their earlier work, ie. the Brown-Wilson writing partnership, up until 1975.
Here, Errol and the guys were very groovy in 1971:
