I’ve been watching the above series on the unlikely channel Spotlight TV (376 on Sky) every Tuesday at 6pm. Each programme features Pathe news reels from a certain year. Featuring clips from the time, these are a fantastic record of the life & times of days gone and lost. Set your boxes to record these, you won’t be disappointed.

That sounds like a good watch.

Sounds like good viewing, just a shame it doesn't appear to be available on Virgin TV.
I notice you can watch live though at spotlighttv.co.uk/watch/ so will have to give that a go.
Sam.

Thanks Steve, I will set my Sky box The Saint What’s annoying is that even when you do, it cuts off the last few minutes. Happens every time!

It may have been a similar show but I think some of these programmes were shown on Channel 5 or another channel in the past, there are 66 altogether from 1930 to 1995.

Thanks for the heads up Steve, I like shows like this. I remember fondly the Rock &Roll Years on BBC many years ago and more recently the Look At Life series from the sixties shown on BBC Four is good.

Maybe if you set the programme following it to also record you may get the last few minutes. The Saint This happens all the time with these digital boxes. The Videoplus method had it sorted in the 90s and was a better system. The tv stations don't keep time very well these days either which is disgraceful.
