This years Festival of Speed will be on the weekend of 25th to the 28th of June 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed
I attended the event a couple of years ago and its a great day out well worth the 50 ish quid a ticket I would say anyone who is interested in cars should go there at least once. You won't regret it.

This event is on the "to do" list What's the parking like ? I don't want to take the Quattro through a muddy field... Might have to take the Cortina. Gene.

Parking's very good Gene, you prepay and as you arrive you are directed onto the estate to park. I will see if i can find some smudges from when i went with Swifthalf.

I've been four or five times. The first few were really good with plenty of room to walk about and you could walk through the paddock with ease. The last time I went though it was absolutely heaving. The bridge had doubled in width and still it took 10 - 15 minutes to cross the track. Early days you could also se the track easily but it got so popular that it was difficult to get a good view of the track.
I'd go again but I'd recommend getting a grandstand seat otherwise you'd be stuffed.
Sam.

Thankfully the Hospitality tent was fine and dry, and the cider was on ice To say the car park was a muddy field is an understatement. They had tractors to pull the cars out, although 4WD's managed it on their own, so you would be okay Gene. Despite the rain, It was a brilliant day out. (Other brilliant days out exist)

I was lucky enough to attend in sunny weather but could see what your saying Windy because all of the parking is on the fields of the estate. The problem we had was dust around the route to and from the rally stage .
