We've heard stories similar to this before but it doesn't stop us hoping there may just be a chance of something like this happening one day....

I've got my fingers crossed too.
Sam, Annie, Alex, Ray, and Chris? That would be too good to be true!

If its the same cast, I've said it before, but I think a one-off "Sequel/A2A Prequel" would be great - set in 1977 - against the backdrop of the Silver Jubilee. Potential for a great soundtrack!

I did enjoy LOM the first time around and would like to see them continue the story. Hopefully they can make it the same quality as the first series which is not so easy after a long gap. Auf Pet springs to mind.

Auf Pet springs to mind. The Auf Pet 2000's reboot also springs to mind too here Del. Not wanting be a sceptic but I just feel there's been too much of a gap since the two series ended over a decade ago and maybe what made it good and special in 2006/07 might not be there now. Also John Simm does look visibly older/different than he did in LoM these days too. Still be nice if they buck the trend and could pull this off.

I get that but as its a fictional story based in the past it would be easier than most to pick up after a lay off. If the script is up to the originals quality with the same cast it can work.

If only! But I don’t think it will ever happen :( We thought that about Auf Pet, Minder and The Sweeney. They were all resurrected after long lay offs. It could happen. I guess the sticking point will be John Simms?

Describing A2A as a spin off! Rude! :( It’s a non article isn’t it? “No one’s mentioned it to me” ... not exactly in the pipeline then, is it? but I’ll open an article with Phillip Glennister in it without complaint.
