I think if you like The Sweeney and films like Villain then this will be right up your street.

It's a great watch. I first saw it at the cinema when I was about nine in the mid-70s and it was the trailer (remember those) so considering the film is 110 minutes long, it must've been a long day at the cinema. I can't recall what the main film was but I always remember I enjoyed Robbery more!

Yes, I've seen it Carter. I have it on VHS in the vault somewhere. Typically powerful performance from Stan as Johnny Bannion, but not as good as Robbery. One or two familiar faces in it too, such as Derek Francis (Raymond Meadows in The Sweeney - Down To You Brother) & a young Edward Judd (Eddie Monk in The Sweeney - Money Money Money)

I've got a quad for another Baker film 'A Prize Of Arms', great little atmospheric B movie with Baker, Tom Bell & Helmut Schmid teaming up to rob an army barracks. Lots of familiar faces in this one, Garfield Morgan amoung them. Not a particularly well known film but highly recommended & available on Odeon dvd so thought I'd mention it for Robbery fans.

Finally got round to watching this again and loved every minute of it.
I don't know how long ago it was that I saw it but it must be decades ago and I'm now wondering why I haven't watched it again sooner.
Great to see the old motors again and I'd forgotten the final outcome so I won't spoil it for others.
If you haven't seen it or not repeated it for a long time I'd certainly recommend picking up a copy and sitting down in front of the goggle.
Sam.
