Similar to the 1976 find, this collection has some spellbinding images from the whole decade. Search for it under 'groups' in the Flickr search bar, sit back and go on a journey back. The collection is pooled from individual's own Flickr collections so quality and content varies enormously but there's some real winners in there, especially for those with a penchant for vehicles of the era! Talking of which, flic.kr/p/dvHsYB.

Some good smudges of seventies london ther Micky. The old designs on lorries are familiar but you realise when you look at them that they are long gone. Stuff like the Mr Kipling truck the yellow Ryder rental trucks and the Roadline livery. Speaking of the Roadline smudge its a darn shame that guy on the bike gets such a massive electric shock from an unknown source to his left. Hope the L.E.B investigated the cause of that ....nasty I passed the Michelin building the other day and its now a restaurant. Doesn't look too different from the 1978 picture.

There's so much of interest in many of the shots. The Notting Hill market ones are good and as for the vehicles, I remember so clearly the Evening Standard red and white striped vans, plus the yellow Evening News ones. The Corona Bedford truck is also great.
