The McLaren pit crew are extremely lucky they weren't crippled yesterday when Alonso's brakes failed on arriving at his pit box. Sebastian Grosjean was also taking it out on his pit crew. Yesterday was not a good day to be the front jack man. Jenson Button in a post race interview said McLaren may not score any points at all this season There was also talk that Alonso may be seeking a get out clause with his contract. Talk of Bottas going to Ferrari and speculation about Hamilton for 2016 as he still hasn't signed a contract with Mercedes.

Monaco next. Will we see a repeat of the outrageous Rosberg caper from last year when he brought qualifying to a premature end and prevented Hamilton from setting a quick lap time ? Gene. Hopefully, Hamilton is a spoilt little twat.... I can't stand him. Vettel is also of the same ilk. Saying that I still think the pair of them are great drivers and i only hope that the championship stays close and that Ferrari can challenge for a few wins this year to maintain the interest. I couldn't believe how bad the Mclaren was. Brake failure like that hasn't been seen for a long time. Button reported in the press that his car was "Scary to drive at times". Amazing how this has happened to a team that was always very professional and always near the top of the pile for the last 30 years

3 years and supposedly worth up to £100 million for him!
He must be pretty good at negotiations as well.
Sam.

He should get a smaller watch. He'd be 2 tenths a lap faster without that thing on his wrist !
Gene.

What an astonishing finish to the Monaco Grand Prix. I have never seen a team blunder and throw away the lead like Mercedes did on Sunday. I don't understand why, on a circuit where track position is everything, they thought it necessary to change Hamilton's tyres.
"We've lost this, haven't we?" said Lewis over the team radio. I'm sorry about that, Lewis," his engineer Peter Bonnington replied back. "I'll have to have a word with the pit wall."
Toto Wolf has admitted they got the maths wrong in calculating Lewis's pit stop and have apologised, but the mistake handed a victory to Rosberg.
The live onboard pictures of Verstappen's crash were horrifying to watch. Amazing that he was able to walk away.

Haven't watched the race yet Windy but I am aware of what happened and it is unbelievable what Mercedes did. What a way to start his new contract term !

I was over the moon I didn't want Rosberg to win particularly but so long as the spoilt brat that is Hamilton didn't win meant it was all good. Its building between them two and i see some fireworks down the line. One to punt the other off track Senna and Prost style would make great viewing
