One of the last people you'd expect to see pop up in a mild sitcom, the frightening John Bindon makes an unlikely long haired copper in an episode of My Name Is Harry Worth.

In September Acorn Media are releasing the surviving episodes of Harry Worth's BBC sitcom 'Here's Harry', a measly 11 episodes are known to exist out of the 60 that were made. I've youtube to thank for making me a fan of Worth, it's only when you sit down & watch these shows that you appreciate the very clever writing ( partly by Vince Powell who previously I'd thought of as a 'second division' sitcom writer due to shows like Love Thy Neighbour & Mind Your Language- ok but not great comedy ) & Worth's gift for comedy, he is totally overlooked as one of the great performers imo. I saw on imdb that there was a Dutch version of 'Here's Harry' featuring one of the Netherlands famous actors of the time. wearecult.rocks/harry-worths-heres-harry-on-dvd-for-the-very-first-timeGoogling Worth's name I came across a street in Quebec, Canada called Rue Harry-Worth! Surely it can't be named after him www.google.co.uk/search?q=rue+harry+worth&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b&gfe_rd=cr&ei=gymSWZCeKrSN8QfZ9634Bg
