oooo what a carry on ! Good Now and Then picture Saint That would make a good thread me thinks I watched Carry on Henry last week which was being shown as part of a mini Carry on season on ITV. Anyone else catch one last week ? I often considered getting the full set DvD's but thought the set was too expensive for what it was so never bothered. Anyone else got the set ? I wonder if they have been cut at all ? Unfortunately Only Fools and Horses and Are You Being Served have both been cut on the full series boxed sets. Moderator Edit : Then & Now photos moved to a new thread, see below link: 43tv.proboards.com/thread/114/carry-on-films-photos

I've got pretty much got the whole set, but they're only the freebies given away with a newspaper about ten years ago.

Anyone been watching the three part tribute documentary on ITV 3. ? Part three is on tonight. I think it's been pretty good and moving sometimes, when some of the remaining Stars visit the old locations again. I wonder why Barbara Windsor wouldn't take part in it though ?

I watched Carry On At Your Convenience today. Very funny and enjoyable film although not a hit at the box office, put down to the dig at working class trade unionism badly conflicting with the target audience of the Carry On films Here is a stupid innuendo heavy clip of a trade union meeting, which I'm sure the cast thoroughly enjoyed filming :-

I have been researching Carry On films on line, am I the only person not to have known that Jack Douglas and Patsy Rowlands had died? The Saint

Yes, a shame not many of these people are left now...
Jack Douglas 1927-2008 RIP Patsy Rowlands 1931-2005 RIP

It is a shame.
I think of the core "Carry On..." team I think it is only Barbara Windsor and Jim Dale that are still with us.
Sam.
