Who remembers Mintola? They were a bit like Munchies but with a peppermint centre I think and dark chocolate, same size and style sweet and pack.
And what about Caramac? Tasted lovely (Caramel bar with the texture of a chocolate bar) but more sweeter, wouldn't want to eat a lot of it. I remember Mintolas and Caramac well, D.C. I liked them both. As you said you couldnt eat too many Caramacs at one time.

This thread’s focused on the diminishing shape, size, weight and taste of chocolates since we first began eating them. Something much more sinister has happened to Fry’s Peppermint Creams however, and that’s the colour. The delicious fondant in the middle of the bar used to be green… but now it’s gone white!!! – exactly the same as the Chocolate Cream bars. Why do that? Bad enough that they’re no longer wrapped in silver foil although I can live with that, but going white is surely a step too far. Bring back Green Peppermint Creams. BTW, you can still get Mintolas.... but they've had a name change to After Eight, which means you can't eat them during the day now, otherwise you're breaking the law

I remember Fry's Peppermint creams being green Windy, but I didn't know the green bit was white now. I wonder why they changed it?

Memories of sharing a bar of Old Jamaica, a rum and raisin affair from Cadbury, with my dad at Craven Cottage. Also seem to remember a Milk Tray bar which was 6 or 8 different centres all together as a single bar. Or I could just be going bonkers. Stop press! I'm not nuts after all. www.doyouremember.co.uk/memory/milk-tray-chocolate-bar
