For those that like their Minis, Brooklands is holding a Mini Day, as the title suggests, on the 29th March (next Sunday).
Details can be found on the Brooklands site: Brooklands Mini Day
To quote:
For those looking for Mini spares:
The site page details the timetable for the day as there are numerous events lined up, including the Test Hill.
Despite not having a Mini, I will be attending the event with my daughter and will report back with some pictures afterwards.
Sam.

I do so enjoy going to Brooklands for various events throughout the year, the "Double Twelve" in July in particular.
Thanks for the heads-up Sam, I may just pop along for a look particularly if the test hill is open as there's some great sights to see going up there. At last year's Double Twelve someone had built a pulse-jet into a Sinclair C5 and took that up there, never seen a C5 go so quick!

I'd love to go to the this one but sadly my Cooper S needs a fresh MOT and I'll be working as well... typical!

Yes I'm definitely going and now that I'm no longer back in 1973 I have a decent digital SLR to get plenty of top quality pics.

Look forward to seeing them Sam Unfortunately, I'm still stuck between 1973 & 1981 so can't make it this time around. Have a good day Gene.

Well I braved the wind and rain as did 100's of Minis and had a good afternoon at Brooklands for the Mini Day. All variants and vintages of Mini were there as well as some Wolseley Hornets, Riley Elfs, and Mini Marcos. Most conspicuous by their absence was the Metro with only three seen there; two vanilla versions and an MG Turbo.
Not the best day when it came to the lighting and the rain on the lens didn't help but after taking in excess of 100 snaps, here's a selection:
It was quite well attended and the traders there seemed to be doing a roaring trade. There were people walking back to the car park carrying bonnets, wings, grills, and sets of alloys.
