What a fantastic time that was, early '76 I was just 14 with a similar mindset but still facing my O-levels - not that they bothered me as it was so carefree!
The memories of those days are so clear and that list of tracks all so familiar, thanks for briefly taking me back there Carty!
Sam. I go back to some point of the late 70s/first year or so of the 80s more or less every day, Sam because it was such a special and fantastic time. All you had to bother yourself was fun stuff, fashion, football, music, going out with mates, old motors, trying (frequently failing) to pull your hypothetical ideal girl, some dark haired suburban beauty who would probably look a bit like Dana circa 76 was my, unfulfilled aim!

Would have been better but for some reason I couldn't get the list video to embed and then I ran out of time. Not sure if it was my computer or you tube.

I remember watching the below piece on London Tonight or similar tea time show a good 15 year ago . It pitches Glenn Tilbrook of Squeeze against Nik Kershaw busking for cash in Covent Garden a couple of decades after their breakthrough success. Who wins ? see below

Who wins ? see below Seem to remember this around that time (2000), I think Nik was trying to relaunch himself around that time. He'd done a bit of songwriting and a collaboration with Les Rhythmes Digitales around that time so figures. Good find Del.

Added to liked Vids The power of this forum strikes again Gawd I remember seeing that vid on MTV Chill Out around autumn 99 thinking what is this... But quite liking it too was intrigued it was Nik's vocals when the credit came up. This one of LRD's is perhaps more well known, think it got used in a Citroën TV ad in the early 2000's. Poducer Stuart Price eventually went on to produce for the likes of New Order and Erm Madonna. Good or Bad!
