A large part of library music's appeal is obviously nostalgia as you'll come across a track on youtube or wherever & recognise it instantly from somewhere from a 70's tv ad or public information film. All those years it remained in your memory without knowing who wrote it or what it was called. See if you recognise which pif this comes from-

It's the one where the kid goes shopping with his mum who tries to cross the road and at the end nearly gets run over by his dad. I remember this and many more from the 70's, top stuff

Yes, John Cameron did some good stuff.
Here's another.
Half Forgotten Daydreams.

A change of mood today. A nice run in the Quattro with this track helping transport me back to the golden days...
Gene.
Love this track. It's stood the test of time well and is much better than Paul's following 80s offerings.

Many decades ago I stayed in a hotel of Leicester Square that was owned by EMI, and this record was a free gift that was left in the room for guests. A treasured memento from a nice weekend break in the capital.

Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra made a few great instrumental LP's in the 70's. Not to be confused with Love Unlimited who were a female trio that both backed Barry & had their own records. Mention Barry White to people & they naturally think of a big geezer mopping his sweating brow with a hanky whilst moaning about what he wants to do to his woman, but he & his producer Gene Page wrote some superb instrumentals that are thankfully free of Barry's vocals. 'Spanish Lei' ( whatever that is ) is my favourite.

I'm just listening to The Best of The Doors and got to this classic:
I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
Sam.
