Good one Gene, reminds me a little of Fleetwood Mac, anyone else?
In between listening to my own Sweeney instrumental music mix tape, I've been listening to a bit of King Biscuit Time today, aka Steve Mason of Beta Band fame. This was his moniker when going solo away from The Beta Band and before he went under his own name, releasing three albums the most recent being this year's "Meet The Humans". This is "I Walk The Earth" by King Biscuit Time and 'tis superb.

I'm still listening to >>> SAM FM <<<
Currently playing Roxy Music's Avalon after just hearing Blur's Parklife, Rod Stewart with Baby Jane, and The Stranglers with Golden Brown.
It may play a few adverts but the random selection of music from the 60's, 70's, 80's and 90's fits in perfectly for me.

I'm listening to Tonight by Sydney based dance music band RÜFÜS. I discovered them in 2013 when accidentally seeing this music vid on ABC's Rage after flicking the TV after a night out in Brisbane. Maybe a bit more pop pier than the stuff I normally mention but (to me) something interesting about them similar to Above & Beyond if you like.

Unusual DE, but a good call
I've just had a drive back down the Motorway to Manchester and had this little beauty on the old Eight-track in the Quattro. Maybe not everyones cuppa but it's bang on the money for me.
John Cameron - Liquid Sunshine

Nice Gene could've turned up on many a retro TV show that track. Good sampling material too.

Soundtracks, library music & some progressive music from the 70's is mainly what I listen to. I like a lot of other types of music, mostly from the 70's admittedly, but if I had to listen to one kind of music it would be that. I've got an older brother who keeps up with current music & when he sees me he'll say 'have you heard this?' & I'll have no idea who the band is. I started to really appreciate film music when I bought an Ennio Morricone compilation cd called 'Mondo Morricone' about 20 years ago, it contains themes from mostly obscure Italian 70's films. Something about Morricone's music just hit a nerve & I then had to track down all the similar sounding stuff he'd done & this led to discovering library music & also some progressive rock & jazz. One theme in particular I like is in the video below from a film called 'Metti Una Sera A Cena', Roy Budd did a version of it called 'Hurry To Me', like Barry Taylor after baking his first loaf of bread I think I cried the first time I heard this & often still do.

Another quality tune Gene, it's on my own mix I mentioned earlier, one for the Armchair Cinema buffs
