I've not seen Georgy Girl for donkey's years so I'll need to swot up on that one too. Robbery was a fairly recent viewing but this is just another excuse to watch it again.

Robbery is a cracker of a film. If anyone hasn't watched it, it is about time you did.
I did include a small shot of the location from Robbery in the contact sheet I posted above but to make things a little clearer, this is the location we will be visiting.

There is still plenty there to recognise even after 49 years. Note, what will have changed when we visit is the path where the men are working - as it was actually being altered while the film crew were there!

Gene Genie, It looks like a gem of a meet! I just don't know how ya manage it lol The Maida walk!, The Sweeney walk!, its absolutely loaded with unseen locations, what a brilliant concept of mixing Sweeney locations with other ones! the best of both worlds!, a great double bill! plus I'm liking the new idea of the montage of pics from the locations, so very professional! and i think which will also make it easier for the 4.3 retro squad to pinpoint the locations, whilst watching them prior to the meet! its enough to make retro films buffs' everyday jealous!..

Itinerary - simply the best yet. Variety, content, top notch locations (many new). Well done Gene - plenty of work to compile but highly appreciated.
Cheers,
Stan

Terrific itinerary Gene. I really enjoyed the Warrington on an earlier meet, so looking forward to paying a visit there again. Like everyone says, a good mix of locations. Really looking forward to it.

Hello Squad, Seeing as there is only one journey involved on this meet , and that each end has a Tube station it gives us a rare opportunity to be able to use the Tube. Those of you who want to drive to Maida Vale can do.
Can you please post again whether you want to drive to Maida Vale or join us on the Tube and we will amend the squad list to reflect your choice.
The plan is to arrive at Colet Gardens for the meet and greet at 0900 then at 0930 kick off the meet. The squad driving will make their way to Maida Vale. And those travelling by tube will walk to Barons Court and travel to Warwick Avenue near to The Warington Journey time is only 29 mins.
****Ticket information ****
The best way to travel in London is by using either a Contactless bank card or an Oyster card Both of these options give the same cheapest fares .
The cost of our journey from Barons Court to Warwick Avenue using any of the above is only £2.40 each way. If you use it for more journeys (i.e for those travelling in by train )you will be charged per journey up to the £11 cap which is the price of a 1 day Travelcard.
Contactless Bank Card method If you are using your bank card to tap in and out you need not do anything you are already good to go. You use it the same way as an Oyster card by touching in and out on the reader at the gate.
Oyster card If you don't have one you need to buy it online in advance because you can't buy one at tube stations. It costs £5 for the Oyster then you need to put a balance on the card for travel.(see fares above) I recommend you buy online Here >>> OYSTER Card Online Purchase
Once again please ensure you sort this out in advance, as we will not have time to wait for the whole squad to "Top Up"at Barons Court on the start of the journey.
