Perhaps Network should have a loyalty points system like Arrow Video does, so the more you spend the more points you get towards your next order, which can encourage you to buy from their online store. Then the next time you put in an order you can choose to spend the points or save them up for another time. They also have regular sales too with 40 to 50% off their titles. Vi

Network are to be supported for all the archive titles they release but I've always thought that they don't promote themselves well. Yes they're on Facebook & Twitter but there seems to be very little interaction with their buyers. I've no idea how successful Network are in terms of sales but I think a dedicated forum is a must these days to keep people interested and informed.

Quite right Arthur. I've had a number of requests ignored by Network (Sweeney and otherwise related.)

Thanks for posting this, Saint - appreciated. Only problem is you can spend hours studying the gems available. Cheers, Stan

Would you recomend getting it Gene? Absolutely. I've had my box set for a few years now. It came with an Audio Soundtrack CD too which has all the jazz tracks you hear throughout the series. I've watched the series many times over and enjoy it every time. It is NOT The Likely Lads. It is totally different but James Bolam is good value whatever he's in.
Get it DE. You won't be disappointed
Gene.

Thanks for the heads up Gene will go for it I reckon. As for Network yes they're good at what they do but I reckon they were better say 5-10 years back than what they're doing now and I do think they take for granted their position with fans of retro/cult film and TV. Yes the response on The Sweeney Blu Ray is a case in point and sometimes their release schedule is painfully slow even with unremastered/restored stuff. Still I'd sooner them be around than not and many good stuff I like may not be around without them.
