Yeah, shame about that. Now we'll never know if she was a real 70's girl.
I'll wager she was, judging by the size of the concealing heart shape.
Gene Genie.
That's right Gene, say what you mean, don't beat about the bush! The Saint

Great thread Arthur.
Just expanding this a tad into TV - be careful how you use it....

The Denim music should be familiar to fans of The Sweeney as it's heard when Tim Cook is busy 'thumping micks' in the opening scenes of 'Taste Of Fear'. The theme is 'Confunktion' by Dave Richmond ( bass player with Manfred Mann ), the full version is on youtube.

Thanks Arthur - the voice is that of Bill Mitchell.
A distinctive tone that featured in plenty of 70s adverts and jingles for radio stations - especially Capital Radio.
Anyway, 2 favourite Christmas presents in that era were Denim aftershave and a denim shirt!

By way of coincidence I looked at Bill Mitchell's imdb credits & noticed that he appeared alongside Tim Cook ( George Sweeney ) in 'The Bitch'!

This batch is better than the first Arthur. Cor blimey guv the Renault 12 had a 60 BHP engine, It must of been useless with four people on board.
Cool a colour TV for only 1.37 a week.

Cool a colour TV for only 1.37 a week. We had a 26" colour television from Radio Rentals in the mid/late 70's and it was considered to be pretty good at the time!
