After asking on a Pros Facebook group, the Andrew Pixley books were with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd series DVD sets originally but my 2nd series I think is a more recent release which is DVD only. Plus the 4th series DVD has never had the book with it. One lady on the group said she emailed Network expressing her disappointment but they replied stating it was a Policy decision that they would only issue books for all 4 series for the Blu Rays as Saint has mentioned.
But they said they "would look into this" - and no the books aren't available separately.
I don't yet have a Blue Ray player and may well get one, one day if DVD players are as obsolete as Video cassette recorders are now! Blu ray players play dvds ( and cds & other discs ) as well Gerry, thought I'd mention it as many people don't realise this.

But your series 1 set came with the book didn't it? Gene. Yes it did, but I think they have since re-issued series 1 without the book, so you would need to find an original release to ensure it had the book The Saint When I bought S1 I also had the book that accompanies the blu-ray set, but it was back in 2014 when it was first released I think Vi

Just a quickie.... last night was the fortieth anniversary of the airing of the first episode of The Professionals, I was in London staying at my Nan's and remember watching it at the time, and by coincidence I was back there yesterday and driving home across Hammersmith bridge and heading up towards the A40 my mind quickly turned to all the locations in the area they used and noticing how little some of them have changed in the last four decades.... when I got home I realised the significance of the date and finished off the evening by watching some episodes from Series 1 with a nice cold beer Villain

Whilst the series are eminently watchable and entertaining, they’ve dated in a way The Sweeney hasn’t. I guess it’s the exaggerated and fanciful tone with the emphasis on action, and the ‘Buddy’ relationship of Bodie and Doyle. However, I wouldn’t have it any other way and people still watch and talk about it 35 years after it’s heyday. I’ve got a pair of walkie-talkies on my amazon wish list for when I do my long distance trekking next year, but they’re really on because there’s still a bit of the Professionals in me :D

Guess would be great if there was a Professionals meet' sometime! and better still, if new faces on the forum' turn up!
