Yes, that's correct but my 2 s2 and s4 sets were sealed with polythene and didn't have the book, only the DVD case with the DVD extras. I bought from Amazon so I'm led to believe they are the latest releases. Seems strange, are they meant to have books with them? I believe the book only comes with the Blu-Ray versions. The Saint

The Saint Yes it does appear to be true that the DVDs don't always have the books going by some of the reviews on Amazon. In fact the Blu-ray sets are not much more in price so are better value for money, it seems Vi

After asking on a Pros Facebook group, the Andrew Pixley books were with the 1st, 2nd and 3rd series DVD sets originally but my 2nd series I think is a more recent release which is DVD only. Plus the 4th series DVD has never had the book with it. One lady on the group said she emailed Network expressing her disappointment but they replied stating it was a Policy decision that they would only issue books for all 4 series for the Blu Rays as Saint has mentioned.
But they said they "would look into this" - and no the books aren't available separately.
I don't yet have a Blue Ray player and may well get one, one day if DVD players are as obsolete as Video cassette recorders are now!

Why have Network discontinued special packaging and the included Pixley booklet with The Professionals MKI on Blu Ray?
I've looked at most online retailers that I use and non of them included the booklet.
Any one know a supplier that still has the complete package?
Gene.

Gene, I have just checked on Network's website, the series 1 blu-ray excludes the Pixley book, but series 2 to 4 still includes the book. The Saint

Gene. Yes it did, but I think they have since re-issued series 1 without the book, so you would need to find an original release to ensure it had the book The Saint

After checking my Blue Ray edition of Randall And Hopkirk, I've discovered that there is no booklet on the series or apparently no extras, none are mentioned in the write up on the DVD'S anyway.
I bought them from Network for sixty quid over several months, as each volume came out.I think that must be the most I've paid for a DVD set.
Perhaps a different company brought out the standard DVD'S?
It's a poor show though, they could have done a booklet at least. I TV Global Entertainment and their logo are named with Network as the producers of the edition.
Charles.
