I'm sad to report the death today of Sylvia Anderson, a face if not a great voice of my formative years that bought the wonderfully aristocratic Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward. BBC News
She died aged 88 after a short illness. R.I.P. Sylvia

The many shows she made with her one time husband Gerry, brought lots of enjoyment and fun to all of us when we were kids. R.I.P.

I used to love thunderbirds, it never dawned on me until reading it in the news that lady Penelope was based on her..
