Interesting. I'd love this to be as good as the original but experience tells me it won't be. worst case, I get to spend 90mins looking at old scooters

Looks interesting.Quad is a good movie, and has meant a lot to lots of us over the years.I think you get the sense of what being a Mod is like from the film, but one thing I will say is that being a Mod is a young mans' game, really. So seeing Mark Wingett with his parka on is a little....mmmmmm.The other thing is,you see, people associate being a Mod with wearing a parka,a 'Mod Parka' as it were.Mods in the 60s wore these Great Coats for two reasons, and none of them were for appearance purposes.Firstly, these war coats were very cheap and disposable.Secondly, they kept you very warm when the weather was cold and you were riding your scooter:also, they kept your suit very clean and dry from inclement weather. They were not worn to look good.Just thought I'd point that out.

Our old friend Eric Kent in the smudge there! From the looks of it it's not got much to do with Quadrophenia other than featuring a couple of original cast members. It sounds more like the 1986 BBC schools drama series 'Buddy' which featured Roger Daltrey.

I'd give this a go. Superclassics' right the Mods used the parka's as a bike jacket. The parka was readily available cheap and perfect to keep their often bespoke suits clean and dry.
